Why Privacy Matters

Bizoco’s mission to help its members by providing them with useful connections, curated content, business & ecommerce tools & community building platform.

Our Service is designed exclusively for members and enables them to engage in meaningful networking experience, elevate their business activity socially, access to business opportunities, connect with like-minded peers, consume rich insights and learn from experts who are at the frontiers of knowledge & innovation.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application (the “App”), our Website (the “Site”) and other online products and services that link to this privacy policy (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this privacy policy.

Through the Service, you can share messages, comments, and other content (“Posts” & “Work profile”) with certain other users of the Service. You may also send private messages directly to other users (“Messages”).

Collection of Information

Bizoco verifies all users who register for the Service including, but not limited to, where they work and their role or professional title. Only Verified users can get access into the App and choose to post, comment, start a discussion, register for events, connect/network with other members.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you directly give us. For example, we collect information about you when you sign up for our Service, when you make a Post, start a discussion, register for an event, give feedback about the Service or otherwise communicate with us.

Registration

When you sign up for our Service, we capture relevant information necessary to verify your professional profile. This may include your email address, your full name, your mobile phone number, your company, your industry, your sub industry, your country, your city, your professional role/title, your gender, and your date of birth.

We use your contact information, such as your work email address or phone number, to authenticate your account and keep it – and our services – secure, and to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. We also use contact information to personalize our services, enable certain account features (for example, for login verification), and to send you information about our services. If you provide us with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Bizoco to that number as your country’s laws allow. Bizoco also uses your contact information to market to you as your country’s laws allow, and to help you find and connect with people you know and help others find and connect with you. You can unsubscribe from notifications by opting out or in the case of push notifications revoking consent by updating the settings on your device or by letting us know.

Profile

You have additional choices about the information on your profile, such as your education, work experience, photo, city, industry, the groups you’ve joined (Industry Pages), about you, your email id or your number. You don’t have to provide additional information on your profile; however, profile information helps you to get more from our Service. It’s your choice whether to include additional information on your profile.

Information We May Collect

We may, with your consent, collect information from your device’s address book. We do this, for example, so that you can share messages with your address book contacts or add contacts to group chats. You can always revoke this consent by changing the settings on your device.

We may ask you to provide and verify your telephone number when you first launch the App. Additionally, this process may be triggered if you want to create a new group, or we suspect improper activity on your account.

We may collect public information about you and make it available as part of our Services.

Additional Information We Receive About You
